As a Lab Technician working with the bacteriology team, you will be working together with a driven service team of fellow Lab Technicians.

Main responsibilities:

• Executing and following up of bacteriology testing, mainly PCR, including data review.

• Supporting internal activities related to development and validation, assay maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of assay issues and risks.

• Ensuring all activities under your responsibility are performed in compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) guidelines, relevant regulations, and internal policies. 

• Holding a masters or bachelors in sciences or equivalent acquired through professional experience (Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy orientation). 

• Possessing at least 2 years of solid experience in bacteriology, preffered with PCR testing

• Having good knowledge of analytical techniques.

• Fluent communication skills in French and English.

• Experience in a GMP environment is an asset.

• An enthusiastic and motivated person with the ability to be a great team player.

• A proactive approach, adaptive/flexible and a sense of urgency attitude.

• Fast-learning, accurate and not scared of taking ownership/responsibility.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• A full-time (40hours/week) Monday – Friday job.
