This position offers a unique chance to work in ambitious and dynamic environment, where your expertise in laboratory and non-laboratory IT systems can make a significant impact.Read further and apply for a life-changing career!Become part of System Operations and ComplianceIn our department we help operate, maintain and ensure the regulatory compliance of more than 30 laboratory IT systems used in the non-clinical and clinical research and development area. We collaborate closely with our users and superusers, our vendors and our IT colleagues in Bangalore. We are a dedicated department of 18 people, striving for optimal planning and execution of our IT and compliance tasks. We value professionalism, humour, and personal development. Our department is part of Novo Nordisk Research & Early Development IT (DDIT-RED).What you will be doingIn this position you will be responsible for several GxP-regulated laboratory IT systems. You will handle a broad range of tasks related to system management, driving system and platform upgrades and validation.As a Laboratory IT System Manager you will also have opportunity to:

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot and validate complex laboratory systems in close collaboration with local superusers, vendors and corporate stakeholders in a GxP-regulated environment
  • Ensure IT security and data integrity by working in accordance with Novo Nordisk procedures and external guidelines for Computer Systems Validation
  • Take part in improving and optimising our processes, both within technical IT support/management and within IT compliance
  • Handle incidents, system changes and upgrades in accordance with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices

  • A university degree in natural sciences, engineering or IT
  • Experience in a role such as system specialist, system manager, system supporter or similar
  • Familiarity with managing IT systems and/or applications, preferably in a regulated area/industry
  • Experience in driving IT improvements or managing projects
  • Strong aptitude for and interest in technology with the capability to learn and adapt to new IT systems and software swiftly

Additionally, you work in a structured manner, possess a strong personal drive, and have a collaborative mindset. You excel at building trust-based relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners. Fluency in written and spoken English is required, and experience in GxP and/or laboratory settings would be an advantage.Working at Novo Nordisk
