LAB ENGINEER – Automation Tester

As a Lab Engineer – Automation tester, you will conduct in-depth testing and data analysis to ensure product software functionality, contributing to the development of innovative solutions and the continuous improvement of laboratory processes.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Apply modern software quality assurance methodologies, including Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and leverage digital tools such as Jira Xray and the Gherkin language to design, manage, and automate test scenarios with clarity and traceability
• Develop a test suite that include multiple test cases, allowing for reuse across various test plans. Execute appliance testing software functionality, in accordance with reference standards, independently.
• Write and translate manual test cases into automated test suites, using Python scripts.
• Software Libraries Development: develop software libraries, in Python programming language for serial messages decoding.
• Ensure diagnostic capabilities to identify and resolve root causes of appliance failures detected during testing activities or quality issue analysis.
• Perform reporting activities, including calculations, report issuance, and information tracking.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of testing equipment and facilities in accordance with internal procedures.
• Interface with compliance & sustainability teams for the digital acceleration
• Ability to organize the work schedule according to priorities.
• Apply the Kaizen approach in daily activities.

• Have an electronic engineering degree or equivalent through experience
