Reporting directly to the Laboratory Manager, the Laboratory Coordinator will oversee the physical-chemical and microbiological laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality for our beloved products: Kinder Surprise, Raffaello, and Kinder Schokobons. Apply now and contribute to the success of our internationally recognized brands.Principales responsabilités :The Laboratory Coordinator will support the Laboratory Manager in the following activities:

• Laboratory Coordination: coordinate daily activities within the physical-chemical and microbiological laboratory. Ensure smooth and efficient laboratory operations, maintaining compliance with internal and external standards.
• Quality Control: oversee and perform quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Ensure adherence to Ferrero’s stringent quality standards.
• Food Safety: prioritize food safety in all laboratory processes. Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Health & Safety: enforce safety protocols related to equipment usage, chemical handling, and overall laboratory practices. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety.
• Data Management: maintain accurate records of all laboratory tests and results. Prepare and present detailed reports on quality and safety metrics to management.
• Team Coordination: coordinate a team of laboratory technicians. Provide training and guidance to ensure high performance and continuous professional development.
• Equipment Maintenance: ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working order. Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and upgrades as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.
• Compliance: Ensure all laboratory activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and Ferrero’s policies.
• Supervise the sensory analysis.

Profil recherché :

• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably within the food industry
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of physical-chemical and microbiological testing methods. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Language: knowledge of French is mandatory; knowledge of English is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and standard laboratory software.
