Make your mark for patientsWe are seeking a Laboratory Analyst in Mass Spectrometry who is passionate about developing and validating methodologies under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. As part of the PCMD team (Phys-Chem Method Development) within ADSB (Analytical Sciences for Biologicals), based at our Braine-l’Alleud campus in Belgium, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where innovation drives progress.About the RoleAs a Laboratory Analyst in Mass Spectrometry, you will be tasked with developing and validating DDA and/or DIA methods for quantifying HCP (host cell proteins) in drug substance or in-process samples. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of multi-attribute methods.Who you will work withYou will collaborate closely with the PCMD team, consisting of dedicated professionals focused on advancing analytical sciences for biologicals. Together, you will tackle challenges and drive breakthroughs in analytical development.What You Will Do

  • You will design experiments to optimize methodologies.
  • You will autonomously manage and perform daily laboratory activities related to method development, validation, transfers, and support to process.
  • You will prepare, review, and approve documentation, including procedures, protocols, and reports.
  • You will analyze and verify data, presenting and discussing results in project team meetings.
  • You will provide analytical expertise to projects and represent ADSB in cross-functional project teams.
  • You will interact with regulatory teams for file preparation and submission, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Interested? For this role, we are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with demonstrated experience up to PhD with experience in quantitative proteomics.
  • Experience in developing and validating analytical methodologies.
  • Proficiency in mass spectrometry techniques.
  • Experience in working in a regulated environment (eg, GxP, ISO) is a must.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English and good command in French.
