KTP Associate – Point of Sale Data Scientist

This role will deliver a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between OBU and Epos funded by Innovate UK, part of UKRI.

The successful applicant will be an integral member of the team and will be instrumental in realising the company’s exciting plans for business growth, through developing approaches to improve merchant trading performance using data analytics, and growing Epos Now’s market share in the UK and abroad, which will result in significant growth for the company.

This is a full time, fixed term post for 30 months.

The successful candidate must:

Be a Masters or PhD graduate or similar and have relevant experience as detailed in the full job description on our website. A desire to learn new skills and undergo job-related training is also important.

Essential skills we require as a minimum:

• One or more relevant data programming languages (including SQL, Python or R).
• Ability to work closely with other developers and communicate clearly.
