Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all pupil’s in the class.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning and ensure progress for all learners.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback to pupil’s, parents, and colleagues.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff to create a cohesive teaching team and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies, maintaining high standards of discipline and pastoral care.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupil’s, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
  • Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills.
