About the School and Role:
We are working with a dedicated and collaborative primary school in Cradley Heath that is seeking a passionate Teacher to join their fantastic KS1 team. This role presents a great opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive environment. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
If successful, you will work closely with an experienced KS1 Leader and be part of a talented staff team, including support from teaching assistants. The school offers a nurturing environment focused on delivering high-quality education to its pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality instruction.
- Differentiate lessons to cater to the diverse learning needs within the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with teaching assistants to enhance classroom learning.
- Provide timely feedback to students and maintain accurate records of progress.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour within the classroom and across the school.
- Participate in staff meetings, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Engage in the performance management process for personal and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recent experience in a primary teaching role.
- Availability from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Strong subject knowledge, particularly within the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Ability to support and manage students effectively, including those with mild SEN.
- Experience and/or training in teaching Systematic Synthetic Phonics is highly desirable.
