Responsibilities:

To coordinate/manage the work done by production coordinators on a set of aircraft workstations.

To take control of complex issues (hot spots, emergencies, etc.) that the production coordinators are unable to resolve.

Since the role of Logistics Coordinator is a position of responsibility: To manage a portfolio covering the logistics aspects of Production Coordinator tasks.

Scope of Activities:

To carry out some or all of the following activities:

• Supervise/technically support production coordinators at workstations
• Act as expert technical adviser with internal and external interfaces
• Identify needs in terms of resources, skills and qualifications within your technical area and inform the team leader of them
• Contribute to allocation meetings and support skills planning/management and workload capacity initiatives
• Organize and monitor mentoring for new employees
• Formalize and update technical processes and operating procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement within your work area and ensure that it is clean and tidy
• Enter the KPIs
• Stand in for the team leader when needed
• Analyze and Follow up on Shortages and logistic updates within the work area
• Initiate urgent reception and service requests via the Supply Department
• Carry out detailed monitoring (tracking, inquiries) of deliveries and provide the associated information
• Resolve nonconformities
• Investigate and analyze all Losses before reporting, in accordance with the procedure
• Manage delivery methods (Incoming/Outgoing: MDU, Cage, Trolley, Module, etc.)
• Collaborate with warehouse and local logistics to manage physical flows

The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.

+ 5 years’ experience in industrial scheduling, quality and maintenance
