  • In this role, you will be responsible for Global Key Accounts, representing a joint business value of 30-40M€/year.
  • You will define and execute the global, regional and local account strategies, which include the annual revenue plan (KP), as well as the target plan (TP).
  • As a Key Account Manager, you identify business opportunities, steer business development budgets and define clear objectives. Moreover, you are in charge of defining pricing, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the implementation of commercial policy, as well as the fulfillment of commitments.
  • Translating the customers’ strategy and priorities into a joint innovation roadmap is part of your responsibilities in this role.
  • You develop and maintain sustainable and long-term relationships with key accounts, key executives and sponsors, as well as within the organization, both with HQ and key stakeholders.
  • You are in charge of steering and supporting internal resources to execute account strategy.
  • In this position, you will be responsible for timely and accurate administration tasks, supporting the accounts strategy, including sales forecast updates, monthly reports, and so on.
  • You will be managing a team, located in several European locations.

YOUR SKILLS

  • You have a proven experience of at least 10 years in a (Strategic) Sales function, preferably within the same sector (Automotive, Chemical, Industrial).
  • You have a solid experience in building and maintaining long-term customer relations in a sustainable way.
  • You are resilient and communicative people manager, with experience in managing international teams in a hybrid setting.
  • You are a strong strategic leader, and you know how to identify the right business opportunities.
  • You are a good listener.
  • You have a technical background (preferably): an Engineering / Chemical Engineering degree will be considered ad an advantage.
  • You are fluent (written and spoken) in French and English. Knowledge of German and/or Dutch will be considered a plus.
  • You are ideally based in Belgium or France, and you are ready to visit customers as well as other sites frequently (mainly in Belgium, France, Germany). Occasional trips in other locations will depend on business needs.
