Position Snapshot

  • Nespresso in Italy, Milan HQ (Assago)

  • 4+ years experience in a similar role, a prior experience in managing Amazon and GDS sector would be a plus

  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics and experience managing accounts with major retail chains.

  • Fluent in Italian and English.

  • Ability to travel nationally as required.

Position Summary

Support the Commercial team to drive sales, acquisition and Nespresso visibility across trade channels.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with our key retail partners.

The role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can manage complex accounts and drive sales growth across the national level.

A Day in the Life of Key Account Manager

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key retail partners.

  • Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring mutual profitability and alignment with company objectives.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for key account initiatives.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, forecasts, and strategic plans to senior management.

  • Identify and address customer needs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and networking opportunities.
