In order to accelerate the migration to the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) and enable early engagement with the automotive OEMs, our strategic objective is to develop system expertise on ElectrificationRole and ResponsibilitiesThe Automotive System Marketing Manager plays a leading role in the Automotive System Engineering and Marketing (ASEM) team, working closely with engineering leads, product managers and global sales teams to help create most successful system marketing strategies to win at Automotive customers (OEM and Tier1) on targeted Electrification Systems.This role has a primary objective to define and execute a winning strategy in Automotive Electrification and successfully engage with the OEMS, Tier-1s and other customers with grow NXPs leadership positions with the System Marketing Electrification Team.The system marketing manager is interfacing directly with the OEM and the global ecosystem to position NXP portfolio in a system context.The objective is to build expertise at system level within NXP and to engage with the OEM advanced engineering team to offer support on sub-systems where NXP is building expertise. Such sub-systems are leveraging NXP expertise and portfolio in processing, networking, power distribution, security and safety.Job Summary
- Develop a system market understanding, ecosystem dynamics, competition benchmarking and propose unique system value proposition.
- Define and position the future, differentiated system roadmap with System-level value proposition at the different regional OEMs
- Identify system reference platforms and proof of concepts including business case required to address a customer opportunity.
- Generate incremental revenue and drive Design-Wins with system approach. Quantify and keep track of System business KPIs
- Collaborate with Sales, Automotive Product Lines, CTO and technical experts to define and implement an overall solution positioning
Core Competencies
- Masters or PhD Graduate with a background in Electrical Engineering
- Interest in electronics for vehicle electrification systems, including MCU/MPU products and software, such as Battery management system, Traction Inverter and On Board Charger.
- Customer focused mind-set. Understanding market needs and translate into solutions
- Passionate about technology
- Excellent communication skills – internally and with external parties (customers, partners,…).
- Creative, outside the box thinker / visionary willing to develop new paths and improve established ways of working
- Organized – Able to prioritize and focus. Capable to manage multiple tasks, and anticipate and plan around obstacles
