At Kimpton Fitzroy London we are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our luxury hotel in Central London

As a Junior Sous Chef, we will support you to:

  • Make it count – you matter, and we will provide you with all the tools you need in order to create ridiculously personalised experiences for our guests every day!

Working alongside our team of experienced and highly skilled chefs you will have the opportunity to progress in your career, grow your culinary knowledge and who share your passion for excellence. You will be assisting in creating a wide selection of dishes from a high quality banqueting menu to an exceptional room service offering using the finest ingredients. Going above and beyond to support the Sous Chef in leading and mentoring the team where you will pass your expertise to the junior chefs.

To succeed as a Junior Sous Chef, you will need:

  • To have managed various sections of a kitchen for 3 or more years within a global hotel brand or restaurant of the same classification and of a comparable size and complexity

  • To be experienced in local cuisine and have supported across a variety of service styles that may include catering meetings, social events, restaurants, and bars.

  • To have completed level 2 Food Safety certification and working knowledge of HACCP as a minimum.

  • Knowledge of appropriate (IHG brand) standards relating to food and the ability to create and deliver appropriate dishes to meet guest requests and exceed their expectations.
