Position Overview
A key aspect of this role will be liaising with our IT service provider Helpdesk on logged IT issues and provide prompt onsite and remote support. The Junior IT Support will assist users with any IT queries and will respond to logged incident and service requests. The Junior IT Support will continue to monitor the progress of IT requests on logged calls and ongoing support. While the successful candidate will be primarily based in one location, there will be requirements to support other CRH locations across Dublin. Flexibility to support all locations is a necessity.
Flexibility outside of normal business hours and weekend work may be required on occasions.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Provide 1st level support to users for all issues raised by phone, email, self-service or face to face.
• Support for Office365, Outlook, Networking, Remote Support.
• Perform configuration and support of mobiles devices.
• Escalate queries to the appropriate 2nd level support team when necessary.
• Communicate with users to ensure that they are appraised of problem progress and to confirm resolution.
• Assist with printer repairs and liaising with our printer managed partner.
• Support IT project initiatives as required.
• Perform daily tasks, ad-hoc variety.

Experience / Education
You are/have:
• Third Level qualification in field of IT.
• Broad experience of IT Systems and experience.
• Experience in a support role.
• Microsoft Office365 is an advantage.
• Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
