Job descriptionTeaching AssistantProspero Teaching are working with an ‘Good’ Ofsted rated School based in Waterlooville, Hampshire seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant for September 2024The School are looking for individuals that are supportive, non-judgemental, patient, easy to talk to, positive and flexible. You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them, enabling you to build trusting relationships.Previous experience of working with young people is desirable. Experience with autistic children and those with social communication difficulties would be an advantage. A team player with patience, understanding and a willingness to develop is needed.Contract Details
Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire
Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long Term / Permanent
Duration / Likely Duration: Ongoing
Full time/part time: Full Time
Minimum rate of pay: From GBP85.10 – GBP98.20
Hours: 30 hours per weekExperience, Training and Qualifications:
· Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferable)
· GCSES: English & Maths
· Minimum 1 year working with children
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (or willingness to complete)Eligibility:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related referencesProspero Teaching is able to offer the successful candidate:
