The ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ years of Scala experience

• Hands-on, proactive approach
• Good git understanding

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and service based architecture

• Linux is your daily driver
• Strong knowledge of Linux processes, thread management, shell scripting, service management and networking
• Knowledge of Spark is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Iceberg is a plus.
• Ability to work in the EST timezone.
• Ability to cover some EST on-call (usually one incident a month per team)

• Proficiency in English enables effective communication in an international environment.
