Junior Project Engineer

West Mersea – Colchester

A£26,000 to A£32,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Nest Pension + Death in Service Benefit + Medical Support Scheme + Onsite Parking + Development Opportunities

Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm & Fridays, 9am to 4pm.

Junior Project Engineer required by a successful manufacturing engineering organisation who provide niche designs to their clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a Junior Project Engineer position in a business that invests and develops their team.

The Junior Project Engineer Role:

* Liaising between relevant teams, clients and the project manager.
* To participate in the selection of subcontractors and suppliers and place PO’s.
* Monitor progress of the works including subcontractor progress.
* To liaise with the design team in the supply of information by drawing up information required schedules and technical query sheets.
* Participate as required in method studies and investigations to determine the most efficient and effective working methods.
* Assist the Project Manager in planning and monitoring of expenditure on preliminary items and agree and implement corrective action as necessary.

The Successful Junior Project Engineer:

* Previous project engineering experience.
* Preferably HND qualified or equivalent.
* You will be IT literate, being well versed in office 365.
