(junior) Pricing AnalystPart time/full time, 32-38 hoursLow prices are an important part of Action’s positioning. As a pricing business analyst, you have an impact in this area. From our international headquarters in Noord-Holland, you serve as the link between data and decisions. In our technology-driven environment, you analyse Action’s prices and those of the competition to help our purchasing teams determine the right prices in a commercial, fast-growing market.This is your daily actionYou are responsible for implementing our pricing strategy. How? By providing insights and making recommendations as to the right pricing decisions. You do this together with your fellow analysts in the Netherlands, the price checkers in the various countries, and our software partners. You collect internal and external data and analyze and optimize it. The great thing about this role is that you will be supporting Action’s growth by setting the right prices for existing and new countries while helping to build our pricing and process structures.Your job at a glance:

• You optimize the pricing strategy for each category
• You propose prices and price weightings based on analyses
• You support the development and implementation of our pricing tools and guide the procurement teams in how to use them
• You provide both recurrent and ad hoc reports for all categories
• You seek out ways to optimize processes
• You support the pricing strategy for new countries in which Action operates
• You keep an eye on the latest pricing developments

Meet your teamThe pricing team consists of 15 members, four of whom are analysts at our IHQ in Zwaagdijk. The other team members are based in different countries.You will join an international team that works hard and is always evolving. Brainstorming and sharing ideas are key aspects of the pricing team’s approach to work.
As a pricing analyst, you will be asked to work in an international environment where flexibility, curiosity, reliability and persuasiveness are essential to guaranteeing Action’s lowest price based on your expert insights.Curious about your new colleagues? You feel at home in an international team that works with various departments at Action. You also take responsibility in your role as an expert, complete your work quickly and set priorities. You can process complex information independently and communicate it in a simple, comprehensible manner.You also have the following:

• A higher professional education qualification in economics, business administration or similar
• At least one year of relevant work experience
• Excel experience is required
• Good analytical skills
• A good command of the English language
