  • In your new position you will manage a defined group of smaller supplier relationships and suppliers’ performance in your area of responsibility
  • In this role you will negotiate contracts, terms and pricing with suppliers
  • Furthermore, you will provide input to and support the execution of our Procurement segment strategy.
  • You will analyze market trends and propose and execute savings projects (e.g. relocation of sources or usage of alternative materials)
  • An important aspect of your new role will be to run benchmarks and other savings projects (e.g. product- or production-related cost optimizations) with existing and potential new suppliers and coordinate their timely execution together with cross-functional team members and in alignment with your Global Segment Lead

Additional Responsibilities

  • In selected Project Teams you will represent Global Procurement.
  • You will join in global or regional NPD projects (New Product Development) and prepare sourcing and selection proposals in alignment with your Global Segment Lead and the cross-functional team (Marketing, R&D, QA, SCM, Procurement, Production).
  • You will be in charge of operational or recurring reporting tasks within the Procurement segment, e.g. supplier market screening.
  • In your area of responsibility you will report material price evolution and trends to the Global Segment Lead.

Qualifications:Professional Experience

  • A degree in business administration or industrial engineering (University or University of applied sciences), preferably with major in Business, Procurement or Logistics qualifies you for this exciting role.
  • You bring 2 years’ experience in Procurement or SCM in local or international operations (international company with comparable tasks is advantageous). Experience in FMCG, Production, Technical positions and knowledge of SAP ERP are appreciated.
  • As you collaborate with international teams, your English needs to be fluent in writing and speaking. Additional language skills are beneficial.

Specific Knowledge

  • Project/Process management experience preferred
  • Expertise working with MS Excel for data analysis
