We are looking for a driven person with a primary focus on commercial agreements with our partners (sales). We are looking for a generalist who is also keen to pick up other topics if and when they come around, such as consumer regulation, marketing initiatives, competition law, partner disputes and litigation.These are some of the key ingredients for the role:You’ll be part of a fantastic team but will also need to be comfortable working independently, drafting and negotiating contracts and working with key stakeholders to get the deal done.As a good communicator, you’re able to answer questions and present information in an easy-to-understand way. Balancing legal risk with commerciality and pragmatism is key to success. As part of this varied role, we’re also counting on you to:Review, draft, advise on and negotiate commercial contracts using templates.Have working knowledge of and interest in consumer, competition and platform regulation matters and be involved in ad hoc queries and projects to support initiatives with the business.Partner closely with key team members from across the business.Work autonomously and flexibly, while being supervised and supported by other lawyers in the teamSupport in optimising existing, and develop and implement new templates, legal policies and procedures.Be part of a great team of legal experts across multiple markets

Potential for extension beyond initial 12-month termCan you deliverHere are the skills and experience we need from you:Developed experience practicing in the UK, the Netherlands, or other common law jurisdictionStrong knowledge of contract and commercial law concepts, with an understanding not only of common legal provisions but also strategy and negotiation skills.Some experience and knowledge of consumer, competition and platform regulation matters is beneficial.A quick learner with a “can do” attitude and a strong academic record.Confident working across multiple teams and locations on an international scale.Able to work autonomously.Fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
