Junior Ecologist

JUNIOR ECOLOGIST, CARDIFF

The opportunity

We are looking for an ecologist to join us at Sylvan Ecology in Cardiff. As a Jr
Ecologist, you would work principally in the field undertaking a range of protected species
surveys and site supervision works for species such as bats, dormice etc. 

What we are looking for

You will have:

• A passion for nature and a drive to work in the ecology industry;
• Good knowledge of UK species;
• Willingness to work unsocial hours and travel;
• The confidence to work with reptiles, amphibians and in places with lots of spiders;
• Enthusiasm for ecology and the environment in the UK;
• High levels of flexibility and motivation;
• Full driving licence and own car, insured for business use.
