The junior Customer Project Manager (CPM) is a critical role in supporting the CPM BE organization with all relevant and typical supporting project management tasks. The person in this role has the eyes and ears, brains and execution abilities to support the whole project management team to meet the goals they have, deliver all the high quality equipment to the entire health systems market in Belgium and Luxembourg. Next to this support context, also end to end responsibility for smaller fast flow projects is assigned to this CPM support role. CPM’s are end 2 end managing all the aspects of the installation and delivery, from tendering phase all the way via preparation, planning, execution towards finalization by training the system users on their newly installed product. Each aspect of this E2E delivery is supported by the CPM support officer. In this role not only product installations are in scope, but also building works. Customers ask Philips for managing renovations or new buildings of rooms and or entire departments where the systems are located in. At Philips, as Belgian Customer Project Manager support officer, you are the interface between all members of the project teams during all phases of the project, supporting the team CPM’s both organizational, process and admin related tasks. You have multiple hats at your disposal; you are a consultant, you are a coordinator, you are a right hand to the CPM team, you are a project manager yourself for smaller projects, you are involved in civil works, this is really a very diverse role, where you can develop yourself in a very diverse manner. For reference a couple of typical activities the CPM support officer is responsible for.

Your role:

  • Confirming & using the project objectives and customer success criteria, formulates the project plan, in consultation with customer project managers, members and other parties concerned on base of the customer contract.

  • Organizes the internal and external resources to be used (quality, time, budget and information) based on the budgets arranged by the CPM’s.

  • Support in the pre-sales process as needed case by case, by creating right documentation, offers, underlying 3rd party offers and more. (CPM is end 2 end responsible when it’s about building works, support officer is executing the documentation of this).

  • Monitor and control the risks (technical and commercial) of the project and develop and follow up on scenarios to overcome these risks.

  • Supports in project realization according to the project plan or validated project order in terms of administrative tasks, risk management, PO and procurement management, planning, stakeholders, information, organization and many more things.

  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date project documentation in file in line with in- and external regulations.

  • Coordinate and manage civil Works execution on customer site to ensure everything is done as planned.

  • Is responsible for driving compliancy to applicable regulations by project team, third parties and partners in the project

  • Organize and drive review session and afterwards execute lessons learned and convert those lessons into knowledge articles, training content or other actions of improvement

  • Responsible for single site, fast flow projects solely.

  • Managing independently your own project team which means managing a team of internal specialists and external suppliers and customer representatives.

  • Influence on key decisions regarding content within team.

  • Project reporting to senior management.

You’re the right fit if:

  • Relevant working experience, including experience of supporting workstreams within projects from idea through implementation or similar roles.

  • Experience in working with construction and W&E technical projects from conception to completion

  • Have significant experience of tender processes and of contract construction.

  • Previous experience in healthcare (projects) is an advantage

  • Experience with a standardized project management methodology

  • Ability to drive team collaboration

  • Great support always mindset, Flexibility and stress resistance is a great asset

  • Customer Centricity & stakeholder partnership knowledge

  • Able to manage internal stakeholders and externals like subcontractors.

  • Evidence of applying daily management and methodical problem solving

  • Professional capabilities in both speaking and writing in French, English and Dutch (all required)

  • Personal capabilities like resilience, speak up and communicational skills.
