ABOUT THE JOB 

Our company is growing rapidly and is searching for a candidate for the position of Junior Business Developer. We are looking for someone with good business development and interpersonal communications skills to help Europod find new projects. 

In this position, you will be working closely with the company’s CEO. You will be responsible for proposing new offers and services to Europod’s customer portfolio and other prospects. Once contact has been made, you will be responsible for initiating sales discussions and drawing up quotes. You will discover the elements of the podcast business and contribute to developing new strategies aimed at fostering the further growth of Europod.

TASKS

  1. Mailing prospecting campaigns;
  2. Prepare draft proposals/offers/quotes;
  3. Look for tenders and call for proposals;
  4. Online or in-person business meetings;
  5. Networking with various podcast industry stakeholders;
  6. Cultivate strong business relationships with our partners and clients; 
  7. Work on the business development strategy. 

SKILLS

  • You have good knowledge of business development and how to build business strategies; 
  • You have good interpersonal communication skills; 
  • You are fluent in English and French both spoken and written (any other language would be appreciated);
  • You have excellent communication skills and can manage stakeholders of different levels;
  • You listen to podcasts and have some knowledge of podcasting; 
  • You are multitasking, structured, rigorous and able to define priorities;
  • If you have knowledge of EU Affairs or institutions would be a plus.

PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Economics, or European Affairs; 
  • Based in Belgium, preferably Brussels; 
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a small but dynamic company; 
  • Entry-level experience so we are open to recent graduates! 

WE OFFER

  • Good work-life balance and working from remote; 
  • Starting in May 2024;
  • CIP (Belgian Convention Immersion Professionelle – Professional Immersion Agreement ); 
  • Not under the framework of university mandatory internship; 
  • You will be trained during your first month in business development; strategies by the CEO and by the Business Manager of our company.
