Role
We are currently looking for an Aerospace Engineering student to join the company as part of our Aviation team in Madrid as a planning engineer. The person will support the rest of the team in:
- Business development
- Airport consulting
- Infrastructure planning and design
The main functions will include:
- Development of proposals for both public and private clients
- Collaboration in current planning projects: capacity/demand studies, infrastructure investment analysis, operability studies, etc
- Collaboration in airport design projects: airfield geometric design and configuration, passenger terminal designs
- Static and dynamic simulation within airport subsystems
Minimum requirements
- Aerospace Engineering | Architecture degree, Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering | in Architecture or similar.
- Advanced Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High level of English and Spanish (C1) required
- Organizational skills, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and business acumen
- Modeling software such as AutoCAD, Infraworks, Open Road.
Assessable requirements
- Experience in the tools listed below will be an asset:
- Airport geometric design software such as Transoft’s Aviplan or similar
Rhino / Grasshopper software * Airport subsystems capacity simulation software such as ARC’s CAST or Transoft’s ARCPORT
- Previous experience in the sector will be valuable but not essential
- Other languages are desirable
