About the role…As a Jr. Network Engineer – Dstny BE, you’ll be responsible for configuring and setting up customer and backbone equipment, making sure everything is running smoothly from start to finish.Here are some of the things you’ll be doing:Preparing all necessary technical pre-configurations for customer installations.Assisting our field engineers during installations and troubleshooting any technical problems that come up.Working with our project managers and coordinators to determine the best technical setup for our clients.Creating and maintaining accurate technical documentation so everyone on the team is on the same page.What we’re looking for in you…A Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ICT, or equivalent experience.Ideally 2 years of experience in IT/ICT (but don’t worry, we love people looking for their first job challenges!).An excellent sense of humorFluent oral and written communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.Knowledge of Networking, including Layer3, Layer2, Security, Voice and VoIP, and Network equipment and configuration via CLI.A positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to manage stress.
