Jr. Affiliate StrategistWE ARE:Today’s Business is one of the most respected affiliate management agencies in the industry. We manage affiliate marketing programs for some of the largest brands in fashion, food, health + wellness, and sports.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:We are looking for a candidate who is extremely passionate about digital marketing and has core values that are aligned with the core values here at Today’s Business. The Jr. Affiliate Strategist will be responsible for managing parts of our internal and external affiliate programs. The Jr. Affiliate Strategist will continuously identify, evaluate, and recruit new affiliates in order to increase distribution. This individual will coordinate and assist on campaigns through all phases of launch and maintenance.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify, recruit new affiliates/publishers
• Identify opportunities for optimization within current list of publishers
• Recruit, manage and develop publisher relationships on behalf of advertisers, communicating expectations, sharing best practices, disseminating offers and promotions, and providing account updates to an advertiser’s largest/most important publishers.
• Identify new sources of revenue on behalf of advertisers by extending reach through new publisher relationships or optimizing affiliate marketing campaign strategies.
• Review and take action on pending publisher applications within networks
• Review Google alert notifications
• “Help A Reporter Out” (HARO) Outreach and Response
• Add text links, coupons, banners, etc. as directed in the affiliate networks
• Create and monitor necessary promo codes, tracking links, and landing pages
• Monitor competitive activity to identify trends and opportunities.
• Keep affiliates up to date on new products and any program enhancements
• Provide regular newsletter communications to help support affiliate partners
• Prepare agendas for client meetings
• Build relationships with editors and freelance writers
• Update and maintain the affiliate CRM
• Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS NEEDED:

• One (1) year of digital marketing experience preferred
• Public Relations experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities
• Sales experience preferred, but not required
• Copywriting experience preferred, but not required
• Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties, and/or projects
• Knowledge of spreadsheets and pivot tables
• Experience working with a CRM system
• Strong organizational skills
• A basic understanding of tracking technology
• Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset
