Account Manager Food – French Native

Role Responsibilities

* Drive growth in the French market: Develop and manage key accounts in retail and food service, identify new business opportunities, and strategically expand your customer base to support the company’s ambitious growth goals.
* Lead customer relationships end-to-end: Act as the first point of contact for your clients, negotiate agreements, coordinate internally with supply chain, NPD, technical and finance teams, and ensure excellent execution along the entire value chain.
* Translate insights into results: Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer data to optimize pricing, promotions, and assortment – helping to secure sustainable, profitable growth across your portfolio.

Requirements

* Commercial background in FMCG: Master’s degree in Business (or equivalent) and 3-5 years’ experience in the FMCG sector, giving you the foundation to quickly add value in a fast-paced, international environment.
* Proven key account & business development skills: Experience with retail and/or food service (B2B) channels, a proactive “hunter” mindset, strong commercial and analytical skills, and confidence in Microsoft Office (SAP experience is a plus) – all enabling you to build and grow strategic accounts.
* International communicator with drive: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken), ideally also some Dutch; excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel – equipping you to build long-term relationships with customers and partners across borders.
