Your role at Dynatrace

Our Pentos Team focuses on simplifying and enhancing testing processes across all layers by providing robust frameworks. They also manage static code analysis to support secure, efficient, and high-quality development. They enable platform component testing to ensure functional correctness, reliability, and scalability, maintaining high-quality standards across the platform. With these contributions, Pentos plays a key role in driving streamlined testing and automation at Dynatrace.

Your Job Role:

• Your job as a Java engineer is designing and implementing testing frameworks for various layers (e.g., unit, integration, end-to-end) to simplify testing for development teams.
• Integrate and manage static code analysis tools to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Research and leverage AI technologies to enhance testing frameworks, improve automation processes, and drive innovation in quality assurance practices.
• Define, monitor, and report KPIs on framework adoption, usage, availability, service requests, and their effectiveness in measuring automation maturity and grade using the Dynatrace platform’s Dashboards, Notebooks, and Workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, and platform teams to ensure seamless integration of testing tools and frameworks into their workflows.
• Create comprehensive documentation and advocate for best practices in testing, automation, and code quality across teams.

Essential Skills:

• • Proficiency in languages like Java, or JavaScript for developing testing tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools like SonarQube, Checkstyle, or ESLint to ensure code quality.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate technical concepts.
  • Analytical mindset to troubleshoot and resolve complex testing and automation challenges.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to align testing with iterative development.
