• Netherlands: Provide onsite IT support for the Netherlands locations
• EMEA: remote support
• EMEA: hardware delivery: shipping of IT hardware to sites and users
• Standby/after hours on call for emergencies

What you’ll be doing…

• Onsite support for Netherlands sites, this includes regular visits to our locations in Rotterdam and Klundert
• EMEA hardware delivery, including maintaining our central Dordrecht stockroom and disposal room, organizing hardware shipments to VGO employees in EMEA and hardware returns/disposals
• EMEA remote support. Tier 3 remote support for more complex pc and infrastructure issues for EMEA users
• On call/ after hours for emergencies & systems upgrades. The onsite tech is the listed primary contact for the Netherlands sites in case of infrastructure issues, this might require working in a site after hours.
• Computerroom and network support. This includes the network/computerrooms in the Netherlands locations, maintaining network cabling (patching), regular health checks of equipment etc.
• Plant/warehouse/Lab support; supporting some of the equipment used in our plants and warehouses such as: wireless barcode scanners, dedicated desktop pc’s, industrial label printers etc.

What you’ll bring…

• MTS or HTS computer technology
• 3+ years of experience, preferably in an international organization
• ITIL foundation preferred, Microsoft windows certification is a pre
• Drivers license
• Excellent dutch and english language skills both oral and writing
• PC and windows (10&11) skills
• Understanding networks (tcp/ip, wiring and patching)
