Job overview and responsibilities

Syensqo, a premier multinational materials company, is in search of an IT User Adoption and Change Lead to spearhead the adoption of IT solutions across the organization. This strategic role involves overseeing the implementation and user acceptance of new IT systems and technologies, managing communication about changes and new features to all users, and developing an ambassadors network to support and implement changes. Additionally, this role will be responsible for all Experience Level Agreement (XLA) related topics and implementing experience-based Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure a focus on user satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for effective user adoption of new IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

  • Lead change management initiatives related to IT, including the creation and execution of change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement.

  • Design and deliver training programs and materials to facilitate smooth transitions to new technologies and systems.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications related to IT changes, updates, and new features, ensuring clear, concise, and consistent messaging.

  • Collaborate with IT development teams to understand upcoming changes and features, translating technical details into user-friendly language.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of adoption and change initiatives, using feedback and metrics to drive continuous improvement.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning, encouraging feedback and suggestions from users to enhance IT solutions.

  • Manage a team of adoption and change specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve team and organizational goals.

  • Develop an ambassadors’ network within the organization to support and implement changes, acting as change champions within their respective departments.

  • Responsible for all XLA related topics, ensuring that IT services are aligned with user experiences and expectations.

  • Implement and monitor experience-based KPIs to assess the success of IT solutions from the user’s perspective, driving continuous improvement in IT service delivery.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years focused on change management, user adoption, and experience management.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale IT change management and adoption projects.

  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, as well as experience with XLA frameworks.

Skills and behavioral competencies

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on user experience and satisfaction.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Fluent in English, with additional languages considered an asset.
