Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects (planning, forecasting, budgeting, and production releases) of the successful delivery of digital products or services for the Avio Aero Engineering team throughout the entire product lifecycle. The main focus will be on military programs, delivering digital solutions that will enable the Avio Aero Engineering team to create, manage and consume restricted and non-restricted data across the entire lifecycle of the products.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesDefine Digital Product Vision and RoadmapSupport for Data Risk and Security taskApply proper project management methodologies, including the Agile one and the Scrum framework, to deliver solutions on time and on costTrack and monitor project status and metrics to ensure milestones are met, and internal and external delivery commitments are metWork closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant product enhancements and to ensure that project deliverables are coordinated with corresponding deliverables from other organizationsPrioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needsDemonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and development teamsDemonstrate strategic-level skills in problem solving, ability to navigate through ambiguity and capability to make recommendations for improvements to existing processesDrive dialogues that produce new perspectives and substantial innovation, enhancements and analysis of consequencesSupport the definition and implementation of processes for coordination and communication between organizations and with GE stakeholdersQualification/RequirementsDegree, preferably in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Engineering or related disciplinePrevious and concrete work experience in similar Digital Technology role (i.e. IT/Digital Project Manager, IT/Digital Product Manager)Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in geographically sparse cross-functional teamsAble to resolve conflicting opinions through consensusAble to ensure group understanding of issues and to present rationale to affect outcomesFluent Italian and English language
