You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the critical IT systems, used in the latest large scale API projects and across departments in API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing in Kalundborg. It will be your responsibility to define and systematically maintain documentation, perform reviews, drive life cycle management, to ensure that the cross-site IT systems live up to internal and external requirements.Furthermore, you will:

  • Supervise the operation and maintenance of the IT systems and identify new requirements for the systems you are assigned to.
  • Manage the expectations of customers, system owners, end-users, quality assurance personnel, and other key stakeholders concerning the use and operation of the IT systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure deliverables and services according to agreements
  • During project phase you will support system implementation, project, and operational readiness activities.

You will have plenty of opportunities for professional sparring and best practice exchanges with an internal network of IT system managers and our central IT organization. It is an on-site position in Kalundborg, Denmark.QualificationsYou are the ideal candidate if you have:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s or technical degree in IT, automation or similar fields or has had a similar position in the pharma or another regulated production environment.
  • About 10 years of experience in IT-related field and preferably 5 years of experience in a System Manager role or similar.
  • You are familiar to ITIL, preferably ServiceNow, and it is a plus if you have experience in documented project management.
  • Experience within the Pharma industry or other highly regulated industry (GMP) preferred.
  • You are fully proficient in English, as this is an international team and international environment. Danish is another plus since the majority of the team is Danish speaking.

As a person, you have a structured approach to challenges, you have a strong quality mindset, and you enjoy providing support within your area of expertise. You have a positive can-do attitude and manage to get the job done with the right sense of urgency, prioritization and communicating status and solutions accordingly – while supporting and keeping a touch of fun our day-to-day work environment. You like working together with stakeholders of different professions, and it is natural for you to take the lead on crucial improvement activities and present and report the progress to management. Finally, you are thorough and find it natural to work independently.About the department
You will be sitting and working with the IT team for PPV factory. Organizationally you will be anchored in the PPV organization and later in the IT organization – but still allocated and working in PPV. This drives a uniform process and governance, while ensures closeness to the business and your customers in the best scenario to support them in collaboration mostly with the Automation team. The PPV IT team is a diverse team made up of individuals with a variety of nationalities and professional experiences. The team atmosphere is very inclusive, and the team members support each other in getting acclimated to Novo Nordisk and life in Kalundborg. You will find the team inviting and collaborative in finding solutions and supporting each other’s tasks.
