IT Solutions Architect required by our client, an award-winning Financial Services company employing over 600 staff from its City base and five regional offices.

The key responsibilities of this role are to:

– Solution Design: Collaborate with the Director of IT , the Head of IT Integrations and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and challenges 

– Technology Evaluation: Stay Informed about emerging technologies and asses their applicability to the organisation. 
– Collaboration: Work closely with integration team, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of solutions. 
– Standards and Best Practice: Define and promote , standards, and guidelines for solution development 
– Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the proposed solutions. 

– Documentation and Knowledge Management: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures. 

Critical Competencies

– Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

– Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a solutions architect.
– Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks, design patters and best practices.
– Proficiency in relevant technologies, platforms, and programming languages.
– Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services.
– Certification in relevant technologies is a plus
– Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a focus on practical solutions.

– Excellent communication and people skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.

As the Solution Architect working in IT Integrations, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless integration of acquired businesses into our IT infrastructure. Your expertise and strategic vision will be essential in driving efficiency and alignment with our overarching business goals.
