Your new role
As our new IT Solution Manager in the IT Department, you will play a key role in shaping both our current and future laboratory facilities by delivering robust and compliant IT solutions. You will solve your tasks independently as well as in close collaboration with professionals from diverse academic and technical backgrounds.
As part of the IT Solution Management team, no days will be the same. Together with your colleagues, you will help ensure a solid pipeline of new products for our customers.
Your daily activities include:
-Ensuring that documentation for IT solutions is up to date and compliant with both internal and external requirements
-Conducting risk assessments, defining requirements, and preparing validation, test documentation, as well as periodic reporting
-Ensuring compliant IT setups by applying your existing experience and best practices
-Collaborating closely with various stakeholders to assess requirements, design solutions, prepare documentation, and test IT solutions of our future laboratories
Should you not have these competences already, we will provide you with training to support your development in the relevant processes.
The position is based in Køge, Denmark and reports directly to the Senior Manager for Laboratory & Business IT.

Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S is a 100% owned subsidiary of Novo Nordisk, located in Køge. We are 400+ people covering the entire value chain from R&D and Business Development to Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales. Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S is a global and leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical ingredients for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. Our product range consists of Quaternary ammonium compounds (Quats), Recombinant Insulin, Customised Purification Resins, and Specialty Enzymes.
You will become part of our IT Solution and Infrastructure Management team, working side by side with experienced colleagues from across the organization who know the processes and the opportunities for optimization.
The team consists of 12 employees with various educational backgrounds. The team solely focus is on IT Solution and Infrastructure, so you will have a group of colleagues for sparring and collaboration, we are also supported by two additional IT teams – a manufacturing IT team and an operations team, which supports with technical and compliance expertise.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a talented professional with strong communication and collaboration skills, a structured approach, and an open-minded attitude. You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities and focus can shift quickly, while always keeping the overall common goal in mind. You also bring with you:
-A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or a related field, or an engineering background with a technical flair and curiosity
-A minimum of 3 years of experience working with documentation of complex systems or processes
-A solid understanding of IT, Network, and data handling
-A strong Quality/GMP mindset, with experience in technical documentation and specifications
-The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver high-quality documentation in a timely manner
-Fluency in technical English and preferably the ability – or willingness – to learn Danish, as some stakeholders communicate primarily in Danish
-Experience within SQL management, PI systems, and new technology
