The team you will be a part of

The Information Systems team is responsible for implementation of the enterprise architecture and the development and maintenance of the organization’s computing/IT environment. Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.

This role in summary

The IT Senior Analyst is a crucial role within Whirlpool, responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business. Incumbent would be responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying and defining solutions, and translating these requirements into technical specifications. As an IT Senior Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure that the technology solutions align with business objectives and user needs.

Your responsibilities will include

Gathering and analyzing business requirements: The IT Senior Analyst must work with stakeholders to identify business needs, gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

Conduct gap analysis between current and desired business processes, identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.

Documenting requirements: Once the requirements are gathered, the IT Senior Analyst must document them in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that they are understandable by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Developing solutions: The IT Senior Analyst works with the IT team to develop solutions that meet the business needs. They also collaborate with other departments/Business Functions to ensure that the solutions are integrated with existing systems and processes from end to end perspective.

Collaborate with IT development teams to ensure that the technology solutions meet the documented requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.

Testing: The IT Senior Analyst is responsible for testing the developed solutions to ensure that they meet the business requirements and are working as intended.

Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure that the delivered solutions meet business requirements and are user-friendly.

Communication: The IT Senior Analyst must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT.

Provide training and support to end-users for new processes and systems.

Continuously monitor and assess the performance of solutions, and make recommendations for improvements. Provide ongoing support to business stakeholders and end-users to ensure that the technology solutions are being used effectively and efficiently.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to business analysis and technology solutions.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s degree or a 4 year college degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the Manufacturing industry related to Digital/D2C or Go To Market Function

Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a plus.

Preferred skills and experiences

Analytical thinking: Candidates should be able to analyze large amounts of data and identify trends, patterns, and insights that can help drive business decisions.

Business acumen: Candidates should have a deep understanding of business operations and processes, and be able to identify areas for improvement that can help drive efficiency and profitability.

Communication skills: Candidates should be able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner, and be able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various departments/Business Functions.

Requirements gathering: Candidates should be able to gather and document business requirements and functional specifications, and work collaboratively with development teams to implement solutions that meet those requirements.

Technical skills: Candidates should have a basic understanding of software development and IT systems, experience with e-commerce platforms, exposure to customer relationship management capabilities within ERP systems. Experience with or exposure to SEO and Content Management platforms is a plus. Experience with VTEX digital commerce is a plus.

Agile methodologies: Candidates should be familiar with Agile methodologies and be able to work within an Agile development environment.

Change management: Candidates should have experience with change management and be able to implement solutions that minimize disruption to business operations.

Data visualization: Candidates should have experience with data visualization tools and techniques, and be able to create visualizations that effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.
