If so, join us!What You Will DoAs an IT Security Engineer, you will be part of the Information Systems Security global team that designs, delivers and supports the solutions and components used to provide Security Services globally within Roche. Our team consists of IT professionals distributed across the globe with expertise in Endpoint Protection, Network Security, Remote Access Management, Vulnerability and Compliance Scan, Security Log Management, etc. We provide technical support and technological consulting on security.PurposeInformation Systems Security Section designs, delivers, and supports the solutions and components used to provide Security Services in the corporate environment.The purpose of this team is to provide technical support to the security infrastructure components and technological consulting. Including on-premise and Cloud Environments.Key activities and deliverablesDesign, implement and operate security solutions.Ensure the life cycle, and capacity plan for all security and technology components.Maintain Inventory of assets, software and hardware.Operationally manage and support the security infrastructure.Design, implement and deliver new technologies.Actively focus on self-development in creating actionable plans to improve.Job skills requiredComplete tasks and assignments with a strong customer focus and a highly responsive service delivery and support ethic.International and multicultural mindset with clear goal orientation.Take a proactive, collaborative and supportive approach when interacting with colleagues.Strong spoken and written English.Qualifications and experience required:3-5 years of technical experience designing, deploying and supporting supporting security solutions including Network Access Control and Next Generation Firewalls tools and solid background in network.Strong understanding of Security concepts, trends and best practices and working experience in a qualified and validated environment.Strong hands-on technical security skills, operational background, and working experience with security technologies and underlying infrastructure.Demonstrated willingness to cross train and to learn additional expertise related to operational activities.Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative and commitment to operational excellence skills.Knowledge and/or experience in any of the following areas is a plus:Programming and Ops Skills: Python, Perl, Ruby, Powershell.Agile and DevOps Toolsets: Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Terraform…Agile framework / methodologies.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
