Key ResponsibilitiesOffer IT support to all AOC departments, Divisions and PMT sites in AOC’s area of operationTest and evaluate IT systemsAssist in implementing and managing information technology including hardware, software and networksPerform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or Senior Team memberFunctional Specific ResponsibilitiesBusiness Applications

  • Support development of soluti ons for operational problems and install, maintain and enhance (application ) systems to support department operations
  • Conduct business systems and technology studies wit hin departm ents to ensure the respective businesssystems
  • and technology function properly
  • Anticipat e organizationalimpacts and impact to other system applications following implementation of new information technologies
  • Act as a liaison between client area and other AOC and SAO departments by supporting the planning, and analysis
  • of complex business problems to be solved withautomated systems
  • Collabora t e with client, ITcolleagues and oth ers to identi fy client business application system requir em ent s, asses impact to other systems applications, consider and evaluate possible solutions, and provide recommendations
  • Perform enterpr ise system development activities
  • Support division st aff with the successful usage of business systems and overcoming systems issues
  • Support the development of systems using end-user programming tools and offer support and advise t o end users
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to how businesssystems are meeting business requirements I
  • Provide technical expertise on computer application projects
  • Perform system applications analysis, design, development, installation, maintenance and enhancement.
  • Develop or ensure that applications are developed in compliance with architecturalstandards, establi shed practices and company policies and procedures.
  • Act as an internal consultant providing assistance, counsel and advice both to clients and IT colleagues in systems design, the use of purchased or licensed software, andin-housedeveloped programming.

lnformotion Security

  • Monitor security audit and intrusion detection system logs for system and network anomalies and provide first level analysis
  • Respond to suspicious or malicious events detected through collection or reported by Help Desk or users
  • Collect and analyze logs from firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterpr ise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools
  • Provide remediat ion and application event support to IT operations
  • Provide analysis, design and support for log collection of firewalls, routers, networks and operating systems
  • Communicate technical and event assessment results, evaluate integration initiativesand provide support to assess and develop security policies, standards and guidelines
  • Ident ify and address any configuration change that impact event collection

Infrastructure Management

  • Offer hardware support for AOC’s network technology, which provides comprehensive intern ational and domestic systems service and support to all AOC departments, Divisions and PMT sites in AOC’s area of operation
  • Assist in troubleshooting, maintaining and administrationof the operation of multiple LAN & WAN subsystems
  • Assist in the operation, maintenance and control of the telephone system. This includes all facets of software, hardware, support, and changes related to the system. The support includes database management support, IP connections,messaging and voice recording systems
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users.
  • Test and evaluate IT systems
  • Analyze and isolate issues.
  • Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
  • Provide AOC with suitable network solutions and recommendations

  • Frequently withSaudi Aramco counterparts to discuss operational problems and system enhancements
  • Frequently withaffiliated companies to provide professional assistance, counsel and advice in IT issues.
  • Frequently with vendors and industry consultants to discuss/evaluate new computer hardware and software
  • Frequent ly with international carriers regarding the installation, maintenance and repair of leased int ern ational circuits

Internal

  • Daily with AOC IT personnel to discuss progress, status, issues, solutions, recommendations, etc.
  • Daily with Unit Supervisor and Project Managers to provide/obtain professional advice, guidance and assistance. Daily with AOC personnel from alldepartments to discuss division needs and provide IT support
  • Occasionally withCommunications staff for the exchange of inform ation on system problems, system enhancement s and new computer applications

RequirementsBachelor degree or equivalent in Technology, Computer Science or related fieldMust be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job as outlinedMinimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in IT, preferably in a multinational environmentFunctional Specific RequirementsBusiness Applications

  • Preferably experience with systems analysis, systems engineering or equivalent
  • Competent with SAP (e.g . MM, QM, Fl, BW, HR},GuiXT, Winshuttle, and SharePoint

Information Security

  • Preferably experience with network, host,data and/or application security in multiple operating syst em environments
  • Working knowledge of general security methodologies, concepts and terminologies.
  • Experience on a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) or Security Operations Center \SOC).
  • Experience with Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, Vulnerability Assessment tools and other security tools found in large network environments; alongwithexperience working with Security In formation and

Event Management (SIEM) solutions.

  • Familiarity with various network and host-based security applications and tools, such as network and host assessment/scanning tools, network andhost based intrusion detection systems, and other security software packages.

Infrastructure Management

  • Preferably work experience in a complicated international network environment
  • Preferably work experience in AD, Exchange and other major IT infrastructurecomponents
