Job Description Summary Location: Barcelona (Hybrid / Office)Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role: please only apply if this location is accessible for you.We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and oversee the delivery of internal and outsourced projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.Job DescriptionMajor accountabilities:Managing the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operationsDelivering projects on time and within budget and to meet the desired business objectivesEstablishing plan and initiating project mobilization by confirming project scope, estimate, resources, roles and responsibilitiesEnsuring appropriate use of project management methods and tools depending on the type of project (e.g. Agile)Directing outputs of the project team, ensuring overall success of project and effective use of resourcesMonitoring and controlling execution of project and establish project governance, managing risks and issuesEnsuring project adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scopeCommitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serveMinimum Requirements:
A minimum of 8+ years of IT project management experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry especially in the Drug Development functionKnowledge of GxP, 21CFR Part 11 and the CSV lifecycleExperience as a Product Owner for Platforms or Large complex solution is an added advantage.
Proficient skills in global teams, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, working in a matrix environment and conflict resolution.3+ years of working knowledge on product management, agile methodologies.Exposure/working experience in digital innovation projects is an added advantage.Data Strategy, Data science or data standardization experience an advantage.English fluentDesirable requirements:7+ years of IT project management experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry especially in the Drug Development function3+ hands-on experience on Agile projects.Why Novartis: Our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people’s lives and our vision is to become the most valued and trusted medicines company in the world.
