Role: IT Program Manager/ Global Data Governance Specialist

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands

Durations: 6 months

Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Experience Level: 10–15 years

We are seeking an experienced Global Data Governance Specialist to support a central data function in driving intelligent transformation within a high-tech environment.

This role is responsible for establishing and operationalising enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, ensuring high standards in data quality, compliance, and data management. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping strategic data initiatives, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making and business value creation.
Key Responsibilities

-Partner with stakeholders across assigned data domains to execute the enterprise data governance roadmap
-Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive data strategy adoption and governance maturity
-Define and implement data governance roles, responsibilities, and accountability models (e.g., data stewardship)
-Lead the implementation of core data governance practices, including:

-Data protection and compliance
-Data quality standards and monitoring
-Data product definition and ownership
-Policy and standards adoption
-Embed data management principles, processes, and policies within domain teams
-Enable and support data stewards through governance frameworks, including workflows, lifecycle management, and business rules
-Define, track, and improve data quality metrics to ensure adherence to standards
-Contribute to both technical and functional data management and governance roadmapsTop Skills Required

-Proven Data Governance Delivery
Demonstrated success in implementing and scaling data governance frameworks, ideally with hands-on experience in Databricks and/or Informatica
-AI-Driven Value Creation
Experience leveraging AI/ML (including Generative AI) to drive measurable business value and increase data adoption
-Hands-On, Pragmatic Execution
Delivery-focused mindset with the ability to translate strategy into practical, actionable outcomes
-Stakeholder Engagement & Storytelling
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complex data concepts and drive stakeholder buy-in
-Organisational Navigation & Change Leadership
Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed environments, managing ambiguity and driving domain-level governance adoptionRequired Skills & Experience

-Master’s degree in Engineering, Law, Data, Business Analytics/Intelligence, IT, or a related fiel
