About the role:

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise local company networks and servers
• Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software for all offices and users, primarily but not limited to Milan.
• Oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g. user authorization)
• Manage IT access audits
• Work with team to resolve issues including escalations
• Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines
• Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk
• Support costs and budget processes IT systems and vendors (e.g. development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licences
• Develop IT policies and practices to mature our process and ultimately provide a better service to our customers

Requirements

• Good knowledge of G Suite, Slack, Atlassian JiraConfluence administration
• Good knowledge of macOS
• Knowledge of networking concepts, tools and equipment, with good knowledge of WIFI networks
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience working in an end-user desktop support role or computer operations environment
• Have good communication skills both written and verbal
• Fluent in English

Nice to have

• ITIL/ITSM/Atlassian certifications
• Knowledge of gitlab and scripting languages
• An interest for identity and security
