Join us to unlock the power of data together!Your jobIn your role as Manager Data Distribution, you are responsible for:
- Manage and prioritize the backlog for Data Distribution, supporting 15 data domains within ABN AMRO, and the Data Domain Stores to aid decision-making
- Collaborate with business analytical stakeholders (CoE BI & AA, Lead Client Integrity Reporting, Data Product Team within Products, Solutions & Control) to capture their requirements and align IT services with their needs
- Work with front-end application stakeholders to integrate data solutions into operational systems and applications
- Keep abreast of emerging data managanent technologies and industry trends to assess their impact on the organization’s data solutions
- Build and lead high-performing teams, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering skill enhancement and career progression
- Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners, including negotiating contracts and service level agreements
- Attracting, retaining and developing top talent in a highly competitive landscape
- Overcoming organizational resistance to change with new data strategies and technologies
- Aligning data projects with budget constraints to secure necessary funding and resources
- Promoting effective cross-departmental communication and collaboration to succeed in data initiatives

You will collaborate closely with the IT Management Team, colleagues within IT and Operations. The team is a mix of ages, experiences, and backgrounds, and alongside hard work, there is always room for fun.As Manager Data Distribution you will lead a data team and you report directly to the Head of Data Integration & Distribution. Your workplace is in Diemen, a five-minute walk from Venserpolder (GVB) and Diemen-Zuid (NS) stations. For this job, you are required to be present at the office for at least 50% of your time.Your profileIdeal experience
- Completed Bachelor degree or similar in Computer Science (BSc or similar)
- 3-5 years of IT leadership experience, ideally in financial services
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Academic or significant professional experience in analytical settings
- Proven expertise in data distribution, IT strategy and leading data/IT projects aligned with business and digital transformation goals in complex environments
- Demonstrable success in “ETL first time right” practices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data integration processes
- Skilled in vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and motivating teams towards shared objectives
- Proficient in Agile, CI/CD practices, data modeling and ETL processes, with a deep understanding of data warehousing landscapes
- Demonstrable ability to think critically, solve complex problems and employ advanced analytical skills and execution mindset
Specific knowledge
- Profound expertise in data infrastructure, platforms, integration and modeling for precise insights
- Mastery of data warehousing, IT integration strategies and architecture to align IT with business objectives
- Deep proficiency in Azure and cloud computing, skilled in Kimball and Inmon methodologies for BI solutions

We are offering
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
