We are looking for an IT Manager for the Commercial and Marketing areas, who will be responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of technology solutions that support the areas’ strategies and wants to work in a challenging, high-growth environment. The position will report to the IT Director of Commercial Solutions. The work location is the headquarters in Barcelona, from where the department supports the different countries in which we operate.✔Key Responsabilities:

• Project management: Oversee the development and implementation of the airline’s commercial systems and follow-up of ongoing projects through the Project Management Office.
• Functional leadership: Lead the functional design and support other project stakeholders.
• Cross-departmental collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure that the airline’s systems meet their needs and detect their requirements.
• Requirement management: Provide well-structured requirements to the Digital Solutions Manager team to work on web and mobile app related projects.
• Supplier partnerships: Foster and maintain effective partnerships with outside suppliers.
• Enhance reporting: Establish a good reporting to the Business Solutions IT Director and other stakeholders that may require it.
• Transition management: Ensure the transfer to the Application Maintenance team when projects are closed.
• Budget control: Forecast and prepare the IT budget for the area, track area costs ensuring correct alignment with the year’s budget.

✔Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering with at least two years of experience in a similar position.
• Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English is essential.
• Team collaboration: Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Technical stack: Deep experience on tools like Umbraco CMS and e-commerce systems.
• Industry experience: Airlines Industry experience and skills in revenue management will be considered a plus.
• E-Commerce knowledge: Knowledge of e-commerce business operations and related areas.
• Online marketing: Knowledge with online marketing.
• Analytical approach: Methodical, analytical minded and service oriented.
• Teamwork: Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
