Role Purpose:

Enable the CIO (Chief Information Officer) and his staff to make decisions in terms of investment priorities in relation to risks to be managed (e.g. Business, Security, internal Policy) and budget availability on FY.

Internal IT Department projects (i.e. MUST DO initiatives, Cyber Security driven) will be organized respecting IT KPIs derived from Group, Security, Architectures guidelines and collaborating with all VF-Italy IT Department functions.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Manage the schedule of MUST DO projects within the VF-IT IT Department in terms of budget and priorities.
  • Manage the risks arising from Hardware and Software obsolescence, coordinate with the team that manages the IT Policy Life Cycle Management
  • Define a shared prioritization of internal investments within the VF-IT IT Department in collaboration with all functions
  • Produce standard reporting on the efficiency of investments in relation to Business, Security and Policy risks
  • Synchronize the MUST DO program with cross-functional hardware and software aging/patching projects (e.g., Windows 2012 obsolescence)

Required competencies, knowledge, and experience:

  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced level)
  • English language (fluent)

Nice to have have technical /professional qualifications:

  • Good Communication
  • IT Obsolescence basics 
  • Project Management
