IT Director / Head of IT
Industry: Luxury Hospitality / Hotels & Resorts / Restaurants / Tourism
Region : UK / Europe / West Africa

Salary: Basic + benefits. Competitive salary – depending on experience
Missions
Management of Group IT across a global variety of jurisdictions to include Cape Verde, Gibraltar, Barbados and UK
* Creative ideas to optimise group search engines within the hospitality, media and music sector
* Review better, more up to date ways to integrate IT with all Group businesses
* Look at the use of AI to help with more up to date methods of sales and communication with clients and internal staff
* Developing the IT for Group and working closely with the sales and marketing teams across all channels to help remedy various requirements within each sector of the Group business
* Developing new booking systems for Hotels and integrating reservation and sales systems
* Checking Group websites and all IT / Social media sites
* Working closely with a new APP that is currently in development
* Reporting directly to the Board of Directors
Qualifications
* Relevant experience as an IT Manager / IT Director (or similar)
* Must understand the IT for the hotel / tourism industry (or related)
* Dynamic and operational nature; Be a hands-on man/woman.
* An excellent level of English and be able to express yourself easily with technical terms in English
* Portuguese as a second language an advantage
* Be service-oriented and understand that the business is your main customer.
* Mastering tools and different IT systems
* Demonstrate good analytical, organizational and responsive skills
* Know how to prioritize tasks and manage multiple queries.
* Be autonomous, patient, flexible and available
* Experience in multi-site an advantage
