Job description
We are looking for an IT Developer for our organization in the financial industry.We are developing the future Order Management applications – to enable a new Nordic solution. We are looking for a Senior Developer with knowledge on trading systems and financial markets. The ideal candidate is having a profile mixed between an IT Analyst and a Developer.What you’ll be doing:
- Writing clean and well-structured code in collaboration with the developers
- Translate and break down requirements
- Support improving our technical foundation and release processes
- Working on strategic projects and communicating with stakeholders across the value chain from business and tech
RequirementsDescription of knowledge and experience:
- Strong knowledge of trading systems and financial markets
- Experience with Java or scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Powershell
- Experience with Linux
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Understanding of products, processes, and IT systems in a capital markets organization
- Working experience with Financial information message exchange protocol FIX and Swift will be an advantage
- Can-do mindset
- Analytical thinker
- Good communicator and collaborator
- Structured, knows how to break complex problems into concrete tasks
- Curious and have a keen interest in trading systems and financial markets
- Proficient in English
