You will join Danone IT & Data as a Senior Manager Cybersecurity – Europe and your key responsibilities will be to:

• Develop and implement a strategic cybersecurity program for the European zone to future proof Danone
• Create a zone cybersecurity risk map (e.g. identifying high risk countries, high risk user groups etc) working with global cybersecurity to address risks appropriately, engage the business functions on cybersecurity
• Developing and maintaining the zone list of crown jewel applications and data for each country to protect on priority that which matters most
• Work with the global CISO team to align regional security strategies with global strategy, policies, standards, and practices
• Manage the development and implementation of Europe-specific policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of cybersecurity and alignment with regulations such as NIS2
• Create and manage local policy exception process and make recommendations for approval
• Identify and secure new business and technology initiatives at Danone by providing cybersecurity advice
• Adopt global risk assessment process, streamline local risk assessment processes for new technology initiatives including cloud adoption
• Provide strategic risk guidance for European IT & Data projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls
• Create zonal vulnerability management plan and work with the global CISO teams to manage local vulnerabilities on time
• Create a plan to follow up on zonal cybersecurity incidents to identify root causes, conduct local incident simulations and create a local incident response plan
• Work with the global team to create a penetration testing plan for the zone and execute the plan for crown jewel applications in the zone
• Create a plan for zonal phishing simulations and conduct periodic phishing simulations for the zone to increase cybersecurity awareness
• Lead the zonal cybersecurity awareness program in line with guidance from the global CISO team, provide targeted awareness for the countries
• Liaise with the general secretary (legal) and procurement department to ensure that information security risks are considered when entering third-party contracts in the zone.
• Advise on cybersecurity for local mergers and acquisitions including due diligence and integration support in the Europe zone
• Working with internal control to implement and check the cybersecurity controls within the DANGO controls and with internal audit to provide information on the Europe zone cybersecurity controls
• Manage the European cybersecurity team day to day remotely
• Manage the budget for the European region’s information security function

We expect you to have:

• Several years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT & Data
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST
• Experience in conducting risk and controls processes for new initiatives
• Experience of interfacing with business stakeholders and technology teams
• Experience of working with global teams to establish information security processes
• Experience of building and managing a team
• Recognised information technology/ security certifications, such as ISO27001, CISSP, SABSA or CCSP as a plus
