This individual is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the solutions supporting the Buying & Ordering processes, such as SAP SRM/SAP MM/Ariba Catalog/Ariba Commerce Automation. It is also a key player in the shaping of Syensqo’s future IT landscape.We seek a tech-savvy professional with a robust understanding of these platforms, passionate about leveraging technology to streamline Procurement processes. - Assess and decide on change requests for our IT procurement systems, ensuring they align with our IT strategy, business goals, and budget constraints. Secure the proper implementation of approved changes.
- Partner with the Procurement team to understand their needs, define system requirements, and deploy IT solutions that enhance procurement processes. Lead projects from conceptualization to execution.
- Provide expertise and guidance to the ERP Rebuild project, ensuring that the systems delivered meet both functional and non-functional requirements, and are seamlessly integrated into Procurement’s daily operations.
- Oversee user requests and issues, ensuring efficient resolution by our IT support teams. Keep a close watch on the performance of the applications supporting the Buying and Ordering processes; manage escalations and liaise with IT vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring uninterrupted Procurement operations.
- Ensure all activities adhere to Syensqo IT policies and standards, with emphasis on Cybersecurity compliance and exhaustive documentation.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement jobs; experience in the Procurement function will also be considered.
- Demonstrable experience supporting procurement platforms such as SAP MM/SRM/ Ariba is essential.
- Experience in leading IT projects.
