International Paper’s Application Services – Packaging Systems EMEA organization is charged with The Customer Experience Services (CXS) team is part of International Paper’s Application Services organization and is charged with designing, implementing, and sustaining technical solutions that provide business capabilities for digital commerce, sales, marketing, and customer service support that meet commercial excellence and digital transformation strategic needs.
The IT Business Analyst position within CXS is responsible for defining, constructing, and sustaining solutions and services that provide business capabilities through applications in order to meet business and customer requirements. The scope of this position includes translating business requirements, writing functional specifications and Agile user stories, working with developers to buid solutions, and creating and executing test cases for various CXS applications and products. This role will also be responsible for providing application support for end-users and problem solving for any issues or application bugs. The IT Analyst will need to be equipped to communicate well with business and IT partners, and action oriented to respond to business priorities and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for
-Collaborating with various business and IT partners to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs and provide functionality for Sales, Marketing, and Service processes
-Capturing, understanding, and translating business requirements into functional documentation (both Agile user stories and Waterfall functional specifications) for IT development
-Creating wireframes, user stories, and user process flows to leverage in functional documentation
-Identifying, documenting, and performing acceptance testing to ensure completeness and accuracy of solutions and regression testing to ensure stability of applications
-Configuring applications to enable defined business processes
-Supporting enhancement requests, bug fixes, and functional business capabilities of multiple applications
-Participating in the development of reference documentation and training aids
-Additional duties as assigned
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, interaction design, or related field is preferred
-Fluency in English
-5+ years of IT experience required
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrating the ability to communicate with multiple audiences (business partner, end-user, technical, management)
-Ability to finalize business requirements into formal documents, diagrams, process flows, use cases, and user stories
-Demonstrated problem solving capabilities
-Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question both business partners and customers across functional areas to determine business needs
-Proven experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
-Understanding of Sales, Marketing & Customer Service applications and processes preferred
-Experience or exposure to design thinking, user experience (UX), and design preferred
-Previous experience with Salesforce would be an asset
