The Role – You will be working in a Global role supporting projects within Finance/ERP Tech projects with potential opportunity to work on other IT related projects. You will understand business requirements and processes and identify business technology and/or process & information opportunities, working with business and IT managers to develop, implement and maintain solutions which deliver business value within agreed timelines and budgets.Measures :The Key Performance Indicators for this role are driven by the business’ operational goals, and related IT business-aligned goals, and cover the following categories of performance:
- Metrics and KPI’s related to the effectiveness of the role (OP).
- Alignment of IT programs and business strategic goals.
- Quality of output (measured by customer and user satisfaction).
- Quality of solutions proposed by the team (measured by success of solutions proposed).
Key Tasks and accountabilities
- Elicits, analyses, and documents requirements (business, functional, and non-functional).
- Works with key stakeholders to prioritize requirements most beneficial to the business.
- Ensures compliance with Global IT strategies, enterprise architecture, and best practices as well as all relevant local/regional/global governmental regulations.
- Reinforce the project goals and objectives to prevent scope creep/gold plating
- Recommends solution options which directly impact the success of a project or initiative.
- Effectively communicates with business stakeholders, project managers, product owners, systems analysts, developers, and quality assurance analysts to ensure requirements are clearly stated, buildable, and testable.
- Oversees the successful completion of User Acceptance Testing, tracking testing progress and defect resolution.
Challenges/Problem Solving:
- Working with multiple geographies to deliver projects and products.
- Rapidly absorbing new technical or business information and applying it effectively.
- Negotiating users to change behaviour, adopting new tools and processes
- Navigating IT capabilities and constraints whilst working to meet the business needs.
- Implementation of communications strategy. Examples include risk escalation, incident management, lessons learned, team corrective actions, the collection and dissemination of relevant information appropriately.
QualificationsEssential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, relevant business field preferred.
- 3+ years business analysis experience.
- Experience within a Global IT focussed role.
- Experience with Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience working on IT Finance related projects.
- Experience with ERPs (ideally SAP).
- Experience with the software delivery lifecycle.
- Proven success in improving the customer experience.
- Experience working within a matrix structure.
- Experience working remotely with globally scattered users and teams.
- Experience influencing others.
- Fluency in English essential. Fluency in Spanish desirable.
- Certification such as IIBA,PMI, PMP, Prince2, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt desirable.
