DescriptionWe are creating a new industrial IoT platform from scratch that will be used to provide the best-in-class management system for Power Grids. Our system is mission-critical to keep lights on.Creating the system as ours is not only about the code but also about understanding the business requirements and converting them into easy-to-understand, developed, and tested requirements. Ensure that the team members know why they are doing the ongoing work and the bigger picture, and support the product owner in setting up the right work priorities.On the other side, you will be responsible for some of the communication with stakeholders from the business, not only to understand changing expectations from their side and the surrounding environment of the team, which might have an impact on the teamwork, but also helping them to understand the issues, dependencies, and limitation of the team if such will arise.You have to learn fast, understand different points of view, have the ability to understand complex scenarios, and simplify them so others might carry on with their work based on your explanations. All of this is in a changing environment and a world of priorities and expectations that might contradict each other.Reporting to Łukasz Gawor, you will work in a collaborative environment.Our commitment / We offer:

Your responsibilitiesWorking in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodologyVerify the requirements feasibility with IT and business stakeholdersMaintain regular cooperation with business stakeholders to anticipate needs for system requirements, changes, and enhancementsConstantly reviewing a product backlog to ensure all are aligned with the business requirements and up-to-dateSupport the development team during the development processLead requirements gathering sessions and provide recommendations for team members and stakeholdersCollecting business requirements and translating them into user stories with acceptance criteria understandable by the whole team and stakeholdersBecoming a valuable part of a team working in Agile SDLC methodology Creating project documentation, diagrams, reports etc.Your backgroundRequired:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university in computer science, information sciences, or a related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role and 11+ years of IT-related experience in total are the must: – Experience in the service domain of power grids or energy industry will be a significant plus
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a bridge between Business and IT
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • High sense of responsibility and commitment
  • Strong ownership demonstrated with a successful track over previous assignments
  • Excellent communication in English
  • Very good interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Scrum framework and roles
  • Experience in working in a globally distributed team is a plus
  • Open-minded and would like to learn and develop yourself and your skills
